The Web

Man did not weave the web of life,

He is merely a strand of it.
Whatever he does to the web,
He does to himself.

    1. I agree with you Lucia! I don't like them when they are crawling toward me or on me, as long as they stay in the garden they are my friends :)

  3. I love the stripes and hairs on his legs. I quite like spiders as they eat up all the nasties. We have so many of them this year, perhaps it is the weather.

  7. Another closely guarded lair for a spider to catch it's next meal.

    Nice capture, Rosemary!

If you haven't already tried this, take a spray bottle of water and squirt a fine mist on the web. It helps make the image pop and the spider enjoys a nice drink in between meals.

    1. Thanks for the tip Daniel (I had no idea that a spider might appreciate the water) and it would make for a spectacular shot.

  12. Hi Elizabeth! I think we're mostly the same, we like spiders as long as they stay far away from us :) I'm so glad you like my blog, and thanks for following. I did the same for you on Google+ (although I'm not that familiar with how to use it yet :)
