Babies...
So innocent, defenceless, dependent,
And goshdarn CUTE!
They need their parents for EVERYTHING!
So, you do what you can:
Feed them, protect them, teach them, love them;
You give them everything you've got.
And when that's not enough,
Run for your life!
'Cause that baby's way too hungry!
Oh, Baby!
So cute, and so amazing that you're able to capture them on camera.
ReplyDeleteI am honoured that these cardinals feel safe enough to bring their little ones to our feeders :)
DeletePreciosas y dulces imágenes!!Un abrazo y feliz fin de semana.
ReplyDeleteThank you, you can't help but fall in love with baby animals :)
Deletesweet...you muust have a great telephoto...are they cardinals they look very light for cardinals
ReplyDeleteIt is a 120-400 telephoto zoom lens, a birthday gift from my husband - I am really enjoying learning how to use it! You're right Sharon, they are cardinals and their colours do seem to be more pale than usual.
DeleteSweet, beautiful birds.
ReplyDeleteRosemary, your photos are wonderful.
Thank you Lucia, the baby is cute but very persistent!
DeleteHello Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots of these little ones.
Great to see the colors of their downy feathers.
Greetings and have a good weekend,
Marco
Thank you Marco, the baby is fluffy, isn't it, and that's what makes it so cute!
DeletePięknie "podejrzałaś" ptaki, brawo. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the birds did, bravo. Yours.
Thanks Giga, I am very lucky they came to my house for their supper!
DeleteHahaha..you sure do have a great sense of humor Rosemary :D
ReplyDeleteDo you know the name of the that bird?
Have a great weekend! :)
Thank you Ash, I'm glad you like my jokes! This is a baby cardinal with its mother, the father is as red as a ripe apple and they take turns feeding the baby. I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well :)
DeleteAwesome cute, with their first soft feathers.. great captures Rosemarie!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Their fluffy feathers make them look so fragile and I'm glad it has its mother nearby to take care of it :)
DeleteAaaw, cute! Great photos :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Helene, the baby's a cutie for sure, except the way it went after its mother for more food!
ReplyDeleteThey grow up so fast:) But seriously....little birds can in one week double, triple, quadruple in size!!! Wow! Cute pics:)
ReplyDeleteI think it's because their feathers are so fluffy, but I find most baby birds look bigger than their parents!
DeletePS. Thanks for getting rid of that word verification thingy:) Sometimes I'd have to retype it like 4 times to send the comment:) So thank you thank you thank you:) Hope you had a fun Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI send you and everyone else who comments on my blog a thousand apologies. I had no idea I even had "word verification" turned on!
DeleteNO need to apologize:) I had the same experience going on with my blog until TexWisGirl told me about that annoying thingy....and I was happy to get rid of it:)
DeleteThis is such a great post. I enjoyed reading the commentary and the images of the cute baby birdie.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I don't know if you're like me, but I'm always wondering what animals are saying to each other!
DeleteBeautiful birds Rosemary, and well photographed.
