as always stunning photos...takes my breath....I LOVE MACRO
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon, I have just discovered macro photography and am loving it!
Deletewhat plant is it?
ReplyDeleteIt is called Pink Spike (Actaea Simplex).
DeleteJust what I needed for this afternoon. Thank you. It's amazing how a picture of a flower can put my mind to ease. One more hour to go....and I will be free:)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how the camera can capture the beauty and feel of a flower :) Enjoy the rest of your day!
DeleteBeautiful pause ;-)
ReplyDeleteThese delicate flowers are just gorgeous, and I'm guessing from your garden? I just wanted to let you know that the turtle remained safe during the time we watched those 2 funny, cold-blooded creatures yesterday:)
ReplyDeleteYes, this is a fall-blooming treat from my garden. Too bad there's not a "smell" button you can press on your screen because its scent is like sweet strawberries! Thank you for letting me know what happened - the turtle looked terrified to me but I had to laugh at other people's comments on your post. Most found the picture amusing and I started to think that maybe turtles are really tough guys and I was worrying about it for nothing :)
DeleteOne more update...I drove by there again this morning, and only the turtle was on the log...still in that crazy pose. Guess he won the stare down.
DeleteThanks for letting me know, Tammy, I am so happy to hear that :) That turtle is fearless, or just plain crazy!
DeleteRosemary, your pictures are stunning and somehow hypnotic. Discovering you is a treat. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet of you Lee, nice to meet you as well :)
DeleteWhat a great photo Rosemary, beautiful colors, compliment.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Irma
Thank you Irma, this flower is blooming right now in my garden when everything else is almost gone, so I am enjoying it even more.
DeleteYour close-up shots are great Rosemary!
ReplyDeleteWish I could smell it from here :)
Truly remarkable intricate flowers.
Thanks Ash, I just discovered this plant a few years ago and am so happy it likes my garden.
DeleteOh Rosemary !
ReplyDeleteThis white flowering plant looks like an angel!
It is lovely.
Your photos delight.
I love to look at and admire.
Lucia
Thank you Lucia, it smells as wonderful as it looks!
DeleteI love the commentary that goes with the images. Pictures of the bee hovering in mid air is so full of dynamics and vitality.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your wonderful comments and your visit :)
