Comment résister à un tel spectacle ?... Ce charmant petit oiseau est d'une grande beauté. il paraît si délicat et gracieux. Ses couleurs sont vraiment incroyables.
ReplyDeleteVos photos sont fascinantes.
Gros bisous
Martine! How wonderful to see your charming comments here again, everything sounds much more beautiful in French. I hope you had an amazing summer and can't wait to see your new paintings.

Thank you Juliana, I believe he was showing off :)
DeleteWho wouldn't want a romance with such a lovely fellow!?! Excellent captures Rosemary!!!
ReplyDeleteExactly Tammy, I knew you would understand :)
DeleteWhat lovely shots!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's challenging to take pictures of birds due to their rapid motions.
Thank you for sharing:)
Hi Keity, yes birds do move around a lot and I take a lot of photos to get these few that are well focused but I get to enjoy being outside watching all of nature around me.
DeleteHe is pretty cute. Love how he's flirting with you and the camera. What a ham!:)
ReplyDeleteI think you're right, he's a true ham and he can flirt with me any time he likes :) You should see how gorgeous he looks in the winter against the white snow.
DeleteSuch pretty blue color. He is a vain bird!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the blue macaw bird in the movie 'Rio' :)
Did you watch that movie Rosemary?
His colour is unbelievable. I found a bluejay feather on the ground once and to see the blue pigment close up is incredible. I've not seen the movie Rio, Ash, but now I must, and I will be on the lookout for the blue macaw :)
DeleteYou will love the movie Rosemary.
DeleteRemember you were saying earlier about seeing a movie about birds, as in Nemo for fish? Well, this is it. Though this is not a Disney/Pixar production but equally good and worth watching!!
Enjoy!! :)
Thank you Morgan, thanks for your visit :)
ReplyDeleteWas he who was fighting on the last post? He's very smart and cute. Great photos, Rosemary.
ReplyDeleteYes this is the same troublemaker, Nadezeda, as long as he doesn't have to share he is happy :)
DeleteWhat a lovely bird, great shots.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
