Lucky Shot

All summer long we have enjoyed the company of this adorable hummingbird as it visited our garden.

Not that I should be complaining about anything...
But it either sits at the hummingbird feeder or worse, sits on the clothesline, making for some unspectacular photos.  When it does drink from the flowers it flies so quickly that I barely have time to point my camera before it's gone!

Last week, I was out taking pictures of a sunflower, when the hummingbird chose to drink from a honeysuckle vine close by!
Lucky me :)
That's it, no complaints left!
