We're wearing white again today
I smile in a knowing way
You make the world look so fine
Everything has a sparkle and shine
I think about you every day
I know that you're not here to stay
Someday soon you'll go away
We're wearing white again today
Inspired by the poem "She's Wearing White Again Today" by Rob Meader

BONNE soirée
We're wearing white, as well, but it's melting away at the moment. Thank God Friday is March 1.
ReplyDeleteI would like to be naked, rather than covered with the white stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou make snow look so nice. I am getting tired of it here, but then I see your beautiful descriptions and pictures and it all looks so sugary and fluffy!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos with the perfect words!
ReplyDeleteRosemary, all your photos here have captured the reason why I love winter! Really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just came across your blog and the photos are lovely... and altogether familiar I might add. We are having lots of snow here in northeastern Wisconsin this year and I for one am thankful for every flake after last season's drought! I grew up just south of you in Vermont a long time ago... from whence my avid passion for nature and gardening began... I look forward to perusing your archives of earlier posts... Larry
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely but oh so cold!
ReplyDeleteWinter will be over soon and we'll be wearing many shades of green! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow pictures showing "dressed in white". The winter has not loosened its grip here. Yesterday we got a little sprinkle around. 2 cm of snow.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my post "tree of tinder." The tree stands on the lawn yet, but it's only the tribe, it's go out. It is an approx. over 200 year old oak.
As I wrote many poet / writer used Hald Manor,'ve read that it has HC Andersen including Also.

Pięknym białym puchem jest wszystko okryte. Myślę, że to ostatki zimy i wkrótce wiosna przyjdzie. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful white fluff is all covered. I think that is the remnant of the winter and spring will come soon. Yours.

Hi Rosemary, We have been wearing white for weeks here. Usually there is a bit of a thaw right about now, but this year, the white seems determined to stay on the ground for the whole season.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary, lovely wintery pictures, I admire them on a distance and appreciate that I don't have any snow in my own garden :-) First day of spring on Friday!
