Bold Strokes

I love to draw,
but I'm terrified of making mistakes.
This lack of confidence
results in timid, pale, sketchy lines.

Nature has no such fear.
She draws with bold strokes,
with confidence,
creating works of art that stand the test of time
and are an inspiration.

  6. I feel the same way about pruning that you do about drawing. I am afraid to make mistakes and so I make timid, ineffective cuts while mother nature uses ice and wind and weather to prune her trees with bold abandon. Nature draws beautiful branches and knows how to shape them. We only imitate.

  7. I am a little like you too. I admire the wonderful drawings of others but....well...I guess if I practiced more I would enjoy better results myself. I prefer to capture beauty with my camera for now.
