Aww..this is truly magnificent shots! The pictures speak for itself. It's good to see you'll be embracing Spring soon. I love that dove so much looking so dainty and demure just by being herself..yes, just like you :)
Your words also are are perfectly fit to these beautiful pictures of snow! On the first one the tree seems to be blooming! ;-) Quite stunning I must say! Patience litte dove, spring is 'round the corner!! Cheerio, Rosemary!
At least you make the most of the snow's beauty while it lingers! The snow contrasts so beautifully against the bright blue sky! How spring surprises you soon:)
Gorgeous pictures! I think I prefer snow and blue skies to this freezing cold, lots of wind and clouds. I actually felt much better when everything was covered in snow ;-) A blue sky lifts up the spirits as well, certainly in my case. I hope we get to see one soon now. Bye, Marian
Merci pour ces belles photos cet oiseau se cache mais j'arrive à le voir je le trouve magnfique et encore de la neige ce blanc que j'aime regarder j'espère que le beau temps arrivera vite chez toi Je te souhaite une belle soirée bisou
We had a weird spring storm blow through last night and leave a few inches of snow. I'm done waiting for spring because I have pops of yellow daffs already brightening up the garden. I'm just enjoying the weirdness while it lasts. :o)
Rosemary, you're making me feel a little better about the extended ice, cold and snow. I'm waiting for that beautiful memory you predict. Meanwhile, I stand next to you in the land of patience.
Lee I'm glad I have someone to commiserate with. It's SO much fun complaining. I miss my summer plants (as I'm sure you do yours) and can't wait to see what they have in store for me.
Hi Rosemary, your first photo of the tree with the snow is indeed dazzling! The bird that you are showing in your post looks like the mourning doves that we have here in Southern California. Can it be that are also living in your neck of the woods? Hope warmer weather is coming soon for you! Christina
Thank you Christina, the snow was so wet and heavy that it stuck to everything it landed on! I believe we share the same species of mourning dove although why on earth they would choose to be here instead of sunny Southern California is a mystery to me :)
Very nice Rosemary, what I find so amazing is that between you pictures of these beautiful texts down. So all this makes a very beautiful and special whole.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous captures of the little dove...
Warm greetings, Anna
Thank you Anna, the dove comes to visit me every day. She is determined that spring cannot be far away, plus she likes to eat at my bird feeders :)
DeleteIn the meantime we can just admire these beautiful shots..but yes, we need a lot of patience !
ReplyDeleteThat's true Jane, as long as I can continue to take pictures of all the pretty birds that pose in the snow, I'll be patient :)

ReplyDeletePoor daffodils! I hope they didn't get flattened? They are usually pretty tough and go on blooming no matter what!
DeleteSuch beautiful pictures! Relish your snow -- we're sweltering in 32 degree heat daily lol!
ReplyDeleteHi and welcome to my garden! Please feel free to send some of that heat over here :)
DeleteI hope soon you get some warm weather. Then all the spring and summer fun will begin:)
ReplyDeleteOoooo, I can hardly wait! That's the good thing about four seasons, you're so excited for the next one, and the next one...

DeleteOh I do love those shots of that sweet, fluffy dove!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jill, that dove made the day seem so peaceful and MUCH sweeter :)
DeletePersonally, I'm getting tired of being patient. I'm wondering if a big tantrum would do some good.
ReplyDeleteHaha - I'll join you for that tantrum!
DeleteThanks Corinne :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a tempting offer Amy :) You live in paradise!
DeleteI love living in our sub tropical climate but sometimes I wish I could have some snow to take my breath away like your beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteBec x
