At least you make the most of the snow's beauty while it lingers! The snow contrasts so beautifully against the bright blue sky! How spring surprises you soon:)
Thanks Tammy, I might get a little tired of winter but I NEVER stop finding it beautiful :)
Gorgeous pictures! I think I prefer snow and blue skies to this freezing cold, lots of wind and clouds. I actually felt much better when everything was covered in snow ;-) A blue sky lifts up the spirits as well, certainly in my case. I hope we get to see one soon now.Bye,Marian
You're right Marian, the sun makes it beautiful and bearable :) Sending you sunshine!

The dove looked so peaceful that it made me feel not so impatient with the snow :)
Brilliant photos, and, just be a memory?????????????
Thanks Bob, yes a memory :) It's amazing, once the snow's gone I can barely remember what it felt like!
I hope that it will be soon Springtime, Rosemary!Gorgeous captures of the little dove...Warm greetings, Anna
Thank you Anna, the dove comes to visit me every day. She is determined that spring cannot be far away, plus she likes to eat at my bird feeders :)
In the meantime we can just admire these beautiful shots..but yes, we need a lot of patience !
That's true Jane, as long as I can continue to take pictures of all the pretty birds that pose in the snow, I'll be patient :)
We had a weird spring storm blow through last night and leave a few inches of snow. I'm done waiting for spring because I have pops of yellow daffs already brightening up the garden. I'm just enjoying the weirdness while it lasts. :o)
Poor daffodils! I hope they didn't get flattened? They are usually pretty tough and go on blooming no matter what!
Such beautiful pictures! Relish your snow -- we're sweltering in 32 degree heat daily lol!
Hi and welcome to my garden! Please feel free to send some of that heat over here :)
I hope soon you get some warm weather. Then all the spring and summer fun will begin:)
Ooooo, I can hardly wait! That's the good thing about four seasons, you're so excited for the next one, and the next one...
Rosemary, you're making me feel a little better about the extended ice, cold and snow. I'm waiting for that beautiful memory you predict. Meanwhile, I stand next to you in the land of patience.
Lee I'm glad I have someone to commiserate with. It's SO much fun complaining. I miss my summer plants (as I'm sure you do yours) and can't wait to see what they have in store for me.
Oh I do love those shots of that sweet, fluffy dove!
Thanks Jill, that dove made the day seem so peaceful and MUCH sweeter :)
Personally, I'm getting tired of being patient. I'm wondering if a big tantrum would do some good.
Haha - I'll join you for that tantrum!
Hi Rosemary, your first photo of the tree with the snow is indeed dazzling! The bird that you are showing in your post looks like the mourning doves that we have here in Southern California. Can it be that are also living in your neck of the woods? Hope warmer weather is coming soon for you!Christina
Thank you Christina, the snow was so wet and heavy that it stuck to everything it landed on! I believe we share the same species of mourning dove although why on earth they would choose to be here instead of sunny Southern California is a mystery to me :)
The trees are so gorgeous! But I am ready for warmer weather...
I am eager for warmer weather too, but am distracting myself with all the pretty, shiny snow :)

Thank you Lucia, the weather is getting warmer over here, so the snow can't last much longer :)
I am struggling with patience this week. It has been a long winter and I am more than ready for spring weather. Have a great Easter Rosemary!
This winter has overstayed its welcome for sure! Happy Easter to you as well Jennifer :)
Lovely poem. You must come visit me in St. George next March and experience an early spring!
What a tempting offer Amy :) You live in paradise!
I love living in our sub tropical climate but sometimes I wish I could have some snow to take my breath away like your beautiful photos.Bec x
Snow really is amazing and I normally do love it, but you know how it is when someone overstays their welcome - it's time to go!
