What a great series, Rosemary! The poor fellow must be cold! I love the catch of him tunneling under the "mountain" and his snowy appearance in the last photo! I hope he was able to find a treat to make his trip out worth it:)
Great photos. We actually have enough snow on the ground that some of the ground squirrels have made tunnels through the snowbanks. All their hard work is going to (hopefully) disappear in a few weeks though as the snow melts.
WAU - where some beautiful / lovely pictures you close a little squirrel. Can see that you have a lot of snow, more than we have here. Wish you a good weekend :) Hugs Hanne Bente
Great capture and very funny story line :) That poor squirrel doesn't give up despite the hardship! He must be very hungry probably angry too. I wish Spring will knock on your door soon. Have a lovely weekend!
Rosemary, lovely story and shots! It's difficult to take photo when squirrel runs so fast, well done! I see your squirrel is other variety, ours have brushes on their ears and red cheeks and collar. Have a nice weekend!
Oh WOW! I love this series! You are sooo lucky to have squirrels around! I have planted 5 hazelnut trees but it does not seem to attract them! :( Well caught and great pictures, Rosemary!
I really am a bit jealous though, because I want so long a squirrel shooting but I never see them unfortunately. Here with you I really see some beautiful pictures of this cute little animal,. Beautiful and bright series. Accolades.
