The Monarch

With a prism of colors upon their wings

A fluttering sunlit dance they bring

Reborn with wings of lace to fly

Against the splendor of the sky

Floats the fragile butterfly

  2. What a treat. Pink and shades of orange and yellow. I'm glad you were able to see these beauties together. For me, it's the Giant Swallowtail and citrus trees right now:) Butterflies are a treat anywhere you go:)

    1. Thanks, I thought that first photo looked like a painting, which I would love to paint (if I could)!
