It does look a little angry Juliana, maybe because I am too close! I think "angry butterflies" could be very funny :)
DeleteI wonder: what does the butterfly see with its spherical eye? They are like antennas. Great photo!

DeleteYou must be really really quiet to get those shots:) NOw that is a macro!
ReplyDeleteWe had a rare abundance of this butterfly, called Painted Lady, this summer. They seemed to feel completely unthreatened and would stay on a flower long enough for me (or in this case, my husband) to get plenty of pictures.
