everybodies gotta eat.. such a tempting treat he doent know you like....to just look at the food!..haha...squirrels have a hard time making a living...I would plant extra seeds just for him....he is cute and they have amazing personalities...live and let live....I have neighbors that kill them because thy nibble the tips off the tree.how awful to have a garen without animals!! name him.....
ReplyDeleteSharon you are so right and my irritation is only temporary :) I do plant extra seeds for them (I usually plant 3 sunflowers for every 1 that they let grow to maturity) but some other insects and animals ate almost all of the seedlings this year. I am more than happy to share my garden with the squirrels. But you won't like the name I'm going to give him... Thief!
DeleteClever guy! I love how smart they are when it comes to grabbing food:) He better be careful on that powerline:)
ReplyDeleteSmart and agile (like Ninjas), a lethal combination!
DeleteThis mr. squirrel is very clever, looking for food.
ReplyDeleteLooking for food and always finding it!
DeleteSeems you have a good sense of humour! We don't have squirrels in Australia but we do have bats and possums and other garden devourers at times, even kangaroos and wallabies in the countryside.
ReplyDeleteThey're all so cute until they have half your garden in their tummies :( Yes, I believe a sense of humour is what gets you through.
