Faded Beauty

Flowers grow

 And bloom

And begin to fade.

So many things in life follow this path.

Beauty can be fleeting,

But love is everlasting.

  5. I am finding that when beauty fades there is something else there that lingers....comfort and happiness. And with plants, the flowers may fade, but the green leaves still make me smile:) Gorgeous shot....especially the first!

    1. I love the way a flower fades, like an aging beauty, the colours lose their fire and become soft and gentle. They haven't even gone dormant and I'm already looking forward to seeing them again in the spring!

  6. Lovely lovely blooms! Your pics are so vibrant. And you're right about life being a cycle and beauty a fading thing. Appreciate it while we can.
