We Wait

And so we wait
For the air
to soften,

For the rain
to bring us back
to life.

  1. O yes, we look forward to the rain too! We had a little storm the other day and the garden looked sooooo happy.

  2. This is always my favorite time of year. Such anticipation--waiting for the garden to come back to life. Checking every day for the plants pushing through the soil, the buds on the trees to swell, and the birds to bring their journeys home.

  12. We are desperate for some rain - the grass men have just been and put weedkiller on the lawn and fertilised it, so we just need the rain now. As Jane says life has a lot to do with waiting.
