Lily of the Valley

Unfurl the banners - Spring is here!

The Grapes of Mirth

Cobalt-blue grapes

hang suspended,

above an earthen

bed.

The Thirsty Crow

Water is the same to all living beings.

Queen of the Shade

Trillium graceful,
    Trillium white,
Star of the woodland
    Lady of Light,
Lo, how she proudly
    Stands in the glade,
Tri-sceptered sovereign,
    Queen of the shade.
Stately she rises
    Slender-stemmed, tall,
Gracious response to
    Spring's early call.

Tickle Me Pink

I am soft sweetness.  I am strawberry ice cream.  I am blush.

I am the shyness on a young girl's cheeks.

I am tulips come to greet the Spring.

Life is but a dream

Dreams are such fragile things.

When you believe, you give them wings.

Aromatherapy

I can't turn a smell into a single word;

You've no right to ask...

From Jo Shapcott's Rosa Odorata

                       Floral
            Heady
              Hypnotic
                   Spring-like

These Hyacinth fill the air with a fragrance that is as beautiful as it is hard to describe.

It's a New Day

Out with the old

In with the new

Set yourself free

From all that binds you

Brighter Than The Sun

There is sunshine in my soul today.

Spring Fever

While I wait for Spring to emerge and provide me with colourful pictures to post on my blog...  I offer you a picture of my yellow-eyed, wily cat, Zorro, who has set in motion a plan to ambush me.
