They seemed in a rush this year,
to meet the sun.
And their colours have been
out-of-this-world,
on fire!
They mirror the glowing rays
that pulled them
from the cold, dark earth.
Atop long slim necks,
their heavy heads sway with the breeze,
dancing to the music
we call
Spring.
Thank you Rosemary for your kind comment on my last post - would you believe it but I shall be showing tulips soon but from Kashmir - your photos and words are poetic
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, the Tulips, and the poem, precious.
ReplyDeleteHello Rosemary,

Bonjour chère amie,
ReplyDeleteVous avez capturé la grâce des tulipes... Des mots, des clichés... tout en poésie !

Wonderful tulips and your photos, Rosemary. They are airy and natural.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is finally time for tulips at long last. Frost is forecast here for tonight, so it seems winter is still clinging to a small foothold. Lovely images Rosemary. I love the soft blur in your images.
ReplyDeleteRosemary,
ReplyDeleteYour photos are excellent, as always.
I love tulips.
Have a nice weekend ♥ ♥ ♥
