The Visitor

Last year
Last spring I returned from the country with a container of 20 toads (all different ages and sizes), and set them free in my garden...

The fine young toad, pictured above, hopped by our fish pond today, posed for a few photos and then continued on his way.

Prince Charming :)

  1. Lovely thing to do Rosemary, and they are great for getting rid of nasties in the garden. I love that little baby one.

    1. Slowly but surely I will repopulate the suburban area in which I live with Toads! I agree with you, Rosemary, the baby was unbelievably cute and sweet enough to humour us by staying put when we placed him on a lily pad for a photo.

  2. J'aime beaucoup observer ces petits (et moins petits!) crapauds...
Souvent je les repĂȘche dans la piscine pour les sauver d'une Ă©ventuelle noyade!
Gros bisous merci pour ces belles photos.
