Petal Paradise


Outside there's
white, white, white
snow
everywhere I look.

But inside my house
in the center
of a one-dollar rose
I find tropical
shades of
paradise.

    I can't wait for the flowers to start blooming again. I keep checking my hellebores, but nothing yet.
