  4. Beautiful sunflower – and beautifully captured!
We had an almighty downpour last night, buckets at the time for 15 minutes, and all 4 of the wine red and dark orange sunflowers broke. I have sunflowers in vases everywhere today and the rest is in my compost bin! The yellow sunflowers in the garden are fine, they have thinner and more flexible stems and managed through the bad weather. Autumn has arrived here in London too.
