This salmon-pink poppy reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe painting.
She painted flowers the same way that I see (and photograph) them.
"When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment.
I want to give that world to someone else.
Most people in the city rush around so, they have no time to look at a flower.
I want them to see it whether they want to or not."
~Georgia O'Keefe~
Malarz miał rację, człowiek żyjąc w pośpiechu nie widzi piękna przyrody.Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteThe painter was right, man, living in a hurry does not see the beauty of nature. Yours.
Thank goodness there are many of us with blogs that celebrate flowers and nature and we capture her beauty so it can be viewed again and again :)
DeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tammy :)
Deletewonderful shot! A poppy looks like a face with very sly eyes.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny Nadezda, now that you point it out, I can see it too!
ReplyDeleteIt's like a nice fluffy and light desert. I really have enjoyed the poppies this year around people's gardens back home in Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful poppy photo Rosemary. When I went to take a picture of my pale pink ones the insides were covered in the black pollen, spoiling them rather.
